Answer the poll to the best of your ability, please!
When choosing arrow spine, do you reference spine charts? And if so, do you you go under, over, or on the mark for recommended spine for your draw weight and draw length?

Re: New poll-arrow spine choice
Me; I tend to shoot primarily bows in the 45# range. I tend to choose an arrow spine of 40-45# based on a 29" draw length. (Port Orford Cedar shafts)

Re: New poll-arrow spine choice
Don’t really use them now but probably would go stiffer if I did due to my liking heavy points. Most of my arrows have from 225-300gr up front, depending upon bow I’m shooting.
Guess I would have to pull one up in order to vote.

Re: New poll-arrow spine choice
I use a dynamic spine calculator instead of charts. I like a heavy arrow and broadhead and a dynamic spine calculator tells me I need a 60-65 spine on a wood shaft for my 53 pound longbows and recurves.

Seems like most people like to go a step up. Next set of arrows I build, I'm gonna have to spend more time bare shafting.
