Yep. Drew a permit for the Illinois Beach State Park again!
It seems they have extended the permits from a 7 day period to 2 weeks! Mine runs October 15th thru October 28th. Got some planning to do, and of course, I'll do a thread here on it.

Well, you guys gotta know by now it's not about the venison. Don't get me wrong, I love me some good venison. But if I come home empty handed, my cup is still overflowing. Reading back through some of my old hunt threads i can vividly recall every moment I wrote about, and the sense of wonder and enjoyment that came with each one.
