Made this duffle bag for my sister

#1 Post by dhaverstick »

I finished this duffle bag last weekend. It is a present for my sister's 50th birthday. I made sure to make it big enough to hold all the towels and bathrobes she steals from hotels during her travels. :D

The bag is made entirely of mule deer hide except for the lacing on the straps, which is deer hide. I carved the strap rings out of moose antler and the strap buttons from deer antler. I sewed everything up by hand using approximately 10 miles of artificial sinew.

Wow! That is really sharp! And really BIG, too! You could fit the towels and bed sheets in that (but who wants hotel bed sheets....Ewwww!)
Aim small, miss small!
