Gettin Ready?

Season is almost here in Kentucky, starts September 2nd, almost ready! Set stands, washed camo, gathering stuff, deciding which bow to use, shooting broadheads...etc. Anyone else in the mood?

So...
Got my permit this year. My son and I went out scouting today (season opens Oct. 1st) and I was surprised to find my favorite ground blind tree was a charred stump...'controlled burn', I reckon. So, a little change of plans; moved the location over a few feet. Not as good of a view, but adequate.
One thing that disturbed me a little...a few feet from my chosen spot there is a roughly 6 foot circle of flattened grass, almost as if a blind or tent had recently been there. It's too early for blinds. I hope some homeless person is not shifting around back in that area...?
