How do you like the Hill-style bows? Some people swear by them, others swear at them. I've never shot a Hill-style bow myself.

ASLs or Hillstyle longbows are all I shoot. I started with Bear recurves and a few custom recurves never owned a compound. For bowhunting they are the best option imo.

They certainly did OK for Howard.
I pretty much shoot vintage Bear recurves with the exception of my Elk Seeker R/D, crafter by our very own Elkman. It's an incredible bow, though a tad on the heavy side for repetitive shooting.
