Struggling with form

#1 Post by Mole trapper »

Hi all,
I've not been able to do much archery for around 8 months because of a health issue, I'm now back at our field archery club, but I'm seriously struggling to find my anchor point now, to the extent I'm now trying 3 fingers under instead of split. I have also tried using one of my wife's 25 lb bows ( with my 30" draw making it 31lbs) to start building my strength back up as I am wondering if that is the contributing factor?. I'm trying to stick to chucking 50 down range on each session to avoid fatigue and making the issue worse.

3 under will give you a different anchor point than split. What made you decide to change it up? Difficulty drawing? Or some other change?
Aim small, miss small!
