Had about 5" of rain, lots of small limbs down and leaves. Power has been out at the house last 13 hrs. Didn't put generator out and on till 6 this morning, toooo heaver rain fall. Didn't want to get electric shock doing it. Now a days work cleaning up. We were lucker than S. TX.

We have been getting POUNDED with severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, crazy heat & humidity, and just now...golf ball sized hail...the last two weeks. Most definitely NOT your typical summer.

I know you fellers to the west have been getting deep-fried with +100 degree days and now it's headed northeast. This ain't your father's Oldsmobile.

Yeah, we are being told we could hit 104 in some areas this weekend.
This heat better stop by September, or they may delay the start of our bow season.

A hot 101. This sucks!!

We had some thunderstorms blow through yesterday. There were over 30 lightning strikes in the mountains just behind my place, each one of course could have started a fire.

Muggy and clammy this afternoon. Several cloudbursts. Strange weather compared to normal.
