I wish!
I've been just sitting here with my arm in a sling. I check in at least once a day, but don't usually have anything to say. I spend a lot more time reading instead of saying something to give away my.... dumbassedness.
Too late, Al. Word's on the street, ya know.
Might as well join in the chatter if ya can't shoot.
I've spent the week cleaning the house ( no joke! The whole week!) Getting ready for my daughter's birthday party on Sunday. In incredible how much crud accumulates over the winter!
I been busy chasing turkeys with my 13 year old daughter, scared a few but no shots...
getting ready to take all 3 kids to youth fishing derbies (trout) the next couple weekends, so sorting through my rods/reels tackle.
I don't usually have a lot to say outside of hunting season because I am not really an equipment junkie, I just grab my bow and whatever arrows I have.
Still using cedar arrows, so they don't have fancy numbers or anything special, other than they fly.
I just keep checking in to see if anybody posted anything new...

Anybody that have some ideas for making more people active or become members ?
We already tried bribes and threats of bodily harm, so that's out.
Was more in the thought of magazines, blogs websites etc. That could have some importance for spreading the news about this great site with people I think have the humor and knowledge worth my and other good peoples time
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are !
I think everybody whos been signing up thinks this is the prize patrol site or something. You don't join in and be active you do not stand a chance at winning anything.

I noticed sometimes when games come around, i see several names pop up I normally dont see. That just dont seem right. Maybe we should put a minimum posting number on the prize winning thing. Something more substantial, say like a 100 post minimum to qualify.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
I've been getting my stuff around for turkey season, starts on Monday. Been busy getting the business going too, my dad and I started our own shop again.
Still part of the problem is , new people can't find the activity on here .
I have talked to members that I've recruted and they say " nothing is going on to participate in "
Then I tell them about ( view active posts ) and the response is " didn't know about that .
Without that the site looks dead and they give up .
There's just not enough user friendly instructions to be easily found .
I've pointed this out several times and it has never been fixed . So it's just going to stay this way .
