My arrows appear a little slower, don't have a crono to know for sure though. 700 grain arrows are not very fast anyhow. My 600 grain 600 spine are faster.

Wow...now ya see? Ever'one says "Ain't nuttin' goin' on" and meanwhile the roof has a hole and the family dog died!
That's what friends are for...sharing the good & the bad both.
Jase, sorry to hear; sounds like you really got dumped on. I can relate to the flu thing 'cuz tell the truth, I'm not over it either. Still having coughing fits and I get the wind knocked outta my sails a mite too easy these days.
Not sure what all your arra' flinging issues are, Tony? Maybe..."if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"
Consistency is the name of the game, not change, my friend.
Thanks all for sharing. Gotta get back and do some work now. Catch up with y'all later.

So, yesterday was another lesson learned in "Y'ain't young no mo". Got home from work with the express intent of ripping out the landscape timbers around the front flower beds and replacing them with new. Piece of cake, right? :?
Well, the old timbers were pretty rotten and came up fairly easily. So, I cleared back the flora and fauna a bit, measured, then fueled up the chain saw and got ready to zip through the landscaping ties. So after a good 15 minutes of rope tugging I finally got it running and I was plumb tuckered out already. (note to self: NEVER buy another Poulan chain saw even if it IS on sale...biggest POS I ever owned).
After laying the first row and staking them down with 12 inch spikes, I managed to lose the hammer head on my sledge. D'oh! Handle fractured right below the head. Finished the job and the second row using my wood splitting maul...can you spell "awkward?" Every bone in both of my arms hurts today, but I got 'er done just before the sun set, after which I was good fer nuttin'.
I will say this much...I slept well.

I came home today, not sure what was on the agenda since wrestling practice for my boy was cancelled. Nasrty weather with cool temps and off/on rain. Thought about turkey huntin, but my junk arse back is bothering me, which will come into play later in this post, and I had to check the brakes on a vehicle to see if they were actually needing replaced or what. That being completed, I sat down and ordered my broadheads for the upcoming deer season! :D They are meathead 190 gr right bevel heads from vintage archery. I can't wait to get my mitts on em.
So my back is a turd. Has been for years and is as good now as it will ever be from here out.I was talking to my brother last weekend while down at the home place, and he mentioned that he had gotten a "tens" unit for his back. I asked him if he bought it and where, having no idea they could be bought by anyone without a chiropractor or dr script, which wouldn't make much sense why you would need a script but anyway, he said he got it at Walgreens. I was on the road! Tens stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. He said he bought the $25 unit, I went in and bought the $60 unit! I had one on at the bone crackers office about 20 years ago and had it maxed out, my brother said he maxes his out too. The one I got claims 2x the power. It's brand name is Omron, and I'm tellin ya, it's fantastic! And I couldn't stand it in its upper levels. Clay, if you're reading this, I would bet it will help your shoulder once it's healed up properly and you start getting them ol man pains down the road. I know this sounds like a dang infomercial, but I just had to get this out there.

 I can't believe they're not really marketed! That one I had on a long time ago just buzzed my back in short lil bursts. This one I just got "taps, kneads and rubs" I don't know how it does that with electrical impulses but it does and I'm loving it! :D

Wait until you get adventurous and put it on limb muscle groups..lol. it makes you move like you are doing it yourself but the machine does it through stimulation.

I've test drove one of those things myself a few times when my back went out, it helped me also.
