Hunter Safety System X-1 Bowhunter:

Put it on and forget you're wearing it. I routinely walk around in the woods without noticing it's on. When I'm on the ground and not clipped onto my prusik loop, I clip the free end to one of the loops on the harness.

Looks good Charles, thanks for the link. Don't think my pocket book can handle any more pressure right now though! Hopefully this or something like it will be in my future.

Not that I wouldn't but I have been forced to hold out for deals.
Same boat here $$$ love finding a deal! But for sake of comfort and ease of use I am gonna drop coin on one of the vest styles just can't figure which one? Good suggestions here though. Some same as us! Use the free one! Glad I'm not the only one.
I been away from punters and all so took me a bit to check back in on this. Sunday morning here sitting at the table drinking coffee. Good place to be -

The biggest problem with them is unraveling the mess that they become no matter how you pack them away. A couple months ago, I bought a vest style harness on clearance at menards, I can't remember the brand though. After looking it over, all I can say is it will equate to much more time in the tree over time and less time breaking knots! Good on ya using that prussik climbing system, that's a great tree climbing knot, one of my favorites right along with the blakes hitch. Both are fantastic friction knots.
THAT ^^^^ is why I want to get one of the "vest" styles just a pain to unravel the free one with stand!

I hope to have a vest style before the soon coming fall hunting season.
