Welcome, Steve! Yeah, lots of us hit those "speed bumps" once we hit over-fifty....but just keep the pedal to the metal and run it 'til the engine quits, brother!

I had just an informational website, which we shut down due to some AT&T problems, and plan on doing another, but it too will only be for info, to order they will have to call me as I primarily build one-off kustoms, so I need to speak with the customer, it's part of the process.

Just joined the site and looking forward to learning more about traditional hunting!

Short bio...I have been shooting on and off since I was about 10/11, always traditional. My father-in-law just got into bow hunting and started ragging on how compounds are more accurate than traditional. Got my juices flowing again and my competitive edge to prove to him that traditional can be just as accurate and hopefully get him to at least try it out. So I am working on getting my bow hunter cert here in Alaska and hoping to get out there soon and start actually hunting with my bow!

Any tips or tricks are appreciated, but I am looking forward to browsing the site and other posts.

Thanks!

Hello everyone!
Since 2010 i dove into the primitive aspect of making stickbows, arrows, and flint knapping my points. everything i made was natural materials sinew, pine pitch glue ect......but I don't no SQUAT about the lingo, calculations, or anything else related. I Just bought my 1st custom modern longbow and need to learn alot of things and have many questions.

graps, thank you for the welcome.

Correct me if im wrong but after reading the comment im gathering this is not a forum where i can learn about arrow spine, weight, GPI, length, stacking ect.

If true, could someone please state the nature of this forum? It's not about learning or sharing knowledge?
