Chris, I see most of the pix are taken with the game still alive (and very unhappy). What do you generally use to dispatch them; like, a .22 pistol? Have you ever had one give you a bad time while turning out the lights? Just curious.

Yes a .22. I also keep a catch pile with me to release non targets and small bobcats. I released that red as well. Just many fox around and more because of coyotes.

Very nice!! Glad to see those yotes getting thinned out. That does wonders for the turkey population. I’m assuming you also take coons in that regard! Thanks for sharing

I don’t target coons but I do pick up a few along with possums and occasional skunk or two. All three of those are bad on ground nesting birds.
