I use Helmsman Spar Urethane. I stain the shafts, apply a coat of Helmsman using the squeegee system and steel wool after dry. Then I apply another coat of Helmsman and crest after dry. I finish them up with 2-3 coats of Helmsman. I think they make a very durable arrow and I don't get the target burn like gasket lacquer.
