went hunting sunday with my son,we drove up a logging road I have never been up before.Five miles of uphill climbing and weaving in and out of draws.We finally came out into this.

We sat and glassed the entire area several times without seeing anything but birds.

Look at the second pic....follow the treeline that is closest to you in the pic,There are nine elk including a BIG! and I mean BIG! 6x6 bull on that road just to the left of the light tan area on road.

Odds are you wont see them but they are there.I had my son watch him while I let out a bugle,he said the bulls head whipped up and locked onto our location.This is around 800 yds away and he easily heard the bugle.I bugled again just to see if I could get a rise outta him.My son yells OH MY GOD! What? I said...He just totally destroyed a ten foot tall fir tree he says..now I have to find my way into those roads.

Sounds like a great adventure with or without critters. Hard to make out on my phone but pretty sure I see some. And in the same pic the close treeline going across left to right has something that appears to be Deer, Elk, or tricky weeds.
