I have a new Blacktail Elite that will be finished this week. Might just be "the" bow for hunting this year. Obviously will have to get acquainted with it first. Some very special wood was picked out for this little beauty. (tease)

Mark, welcome and great looking setup and shooting!

Dave, look forward to the pics. I've yet to shoot a Blacktail but, hear nothing but good things about them.

Mike, look forward to seeing it. Be sure to post up some pics when you receive the bow. Allen does make some of the finest longbows.

Currently setting up my wet weather hunting rig. Just waiting on my rests to arrive. It's a 17" metal Morrison ILF riser with Hoyt Vector Carbon Foam recurve limbs. Makes a 58" bow. The riser is Black and the limbs have been painted in black durocoat. At minimum bolt settings the bow pulls 52#@26.5" Will be shooting Carbon Expres Heritage 150's cut 27.5" with 100gr brass insert and 125gr point weight. Fletched with 3 x 4" duravanes.
It's all about the Journey, a kill is just the end result.
