Ah yes, back when commercials made sense and you are still humming them. Today you can't even remember what 10 of the last 10 commercials were even about.
I ain't even gonna tell you guys what poundage I shoot. Nope, not.

Re: Blasphemy?
Why not Grizz? Lol!
Tell you what, I'll start it by telling MY unpopular draw weight. 40lbs. I use to shoot 45 until I bought my Toelke Whip. Now it's just a matter of shooting my nicest bow! If I had a 50lb Whip, id shoot it too. Lol.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
Re: Blasphemy?
I wish it was 40#. Most of my bows are between 40# and 45#. I think I stopped working as an auto mechanic at just the right time. If I'd gone any longer, I think both shoulders would have been severely damaged, not to mention the hands and fingers. Years ago when the first round of physical problems hit like carpal tunnel and a dislodged clavicle from throwing cut up logs off the garage roof after a tornado jumped over our house but messed with the trees and the garage, I had to drop poundage. Actually, for a long time I couldn't trust my body to reliably handle the minimum hunting weight of 40#. Some friends on Tradtalk, Short Draw and 1bjd asked if I'd accept a gift of ilf limbs in the 30# weight that Three Rivers were selling their 1st generation DAS Daala with. They had both done well buying and selling and had these lighter limbs from some trades. They did that knowing I was struggling with poundage. i'll never forget their generosity. It has kept me shooting all these years. i sometimes like to shoot the wife's recurves also. I bought her a 30# Wing Falcon years ago and she won a beautiful Zebrawood old fashioned recurve with one of my raffle tickets one year at an all Trad shoot at Blackhawk Field Archers in Shirland, Illinois. Harold Couch the maker, is gone now, but will always be remembered not only because of that bow but because of his wonderful friendship. So, 30# or so is were I usually am today.

Re: Blasphemy?
I bought a pair of 35# Journey limbs to bolt onto my Samick riser (makes a 64" bow). It felt like I could hold those at full draw all day compared to the 50# limbs.
I just sold the journey limbs at Cloverdale. Still have the sage riser and 50# for sale. Is there a very active "for sale" site on TradHunter?
