What are you doing today?

Pretty warm for me, too.
Launched the Falcon early and washed cars waiting for it to return. Put it to bed, and after work, went out to visit my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter at their campsite (they return tomorrow)
And then it got dark out.

Went to range, real hot and humid for AZ today. Shot 42 targets, drank a gallon of water. First time out for my new American Leathers Kangaroo leather glove. Glove was soaked from sweat but finger stalls did not stretch. Lighter leather than my Buff leather. Was some concern about losing string feel with inserts but turns out not an issue.

Work, work, work.not even time to catch up on here!
Tuesday night I made my first white wine reduction sauce. Tossed some shrimp and linguine in it. It was perfect! Just have to think of some game that would work with it...maybe pheasant or Ptarmigan? Duck? Hmmm. Wheels are turning!
Came home after work yesterday, tidied up a bit. Wife went out to pottery class and I watched my daughter. A friend came by and we had a scotch and a cigar and caught up with life; haven't seen him in months, nor spoken with him outside of text message.
Today is more of the same: work. The insurance company behind us is hosting a charity bbq, so I may have to gorge on cheeseburgers for a good cause haha.
Tonight I see two of my dearest and oldest friends: my daughter's godparents. Going to toss some ribs on the bbq and have us a feast!

The narrow tape will be under the fletching, just above the mid-point. I had thought about a black cock feather with two Red barred hen feathers.. I also like white, but as you said, perhaps a bit bright but won't matter if I use the cat-quiver.

Raining again this morning, weatherman calling for a chance of rain 8 days out of the next 10.. looks like many of the farmers will have no crop this year. I got some watermelons planted, they're coming up now.. Couldn't plant the entire field, just too wet. Hopefully it will dry in time to plant the pumpkin patch in a couple weeks..
