That was always one of my favorite weekends. I've seen some amazing things as the deer herds bunched up. One time the whole heard came down a hill I was on. It must have lasted an hour or more as they came down in two's and threes right past my tree. Another time I witnessed 16 bucks come out into the field I was sitting on the edge of. It was amazing to watch how the whole heard would raise there heads when one of three large buck came out. I always did enjoy that last weekend of the season and I'm glad you got to get out and enjoy it also.

Guess I should post an update on my condition since many of you have prayed for my health. I am not and may never be what I once was but am thankful that I can be somewhat active again. My latest pet scan showed the tumor had shrunk considerably, appears to be dead or inactive, and no new spots were found. This is wonderful news!
I am not able to preach as much as before but am back to a couple times per week. Also have been able to attend Church or home meeting every evening for nearly three weeks now.
I can’t stand as long or walk as far but continue to push forward. I am now looking forward to the big 3D traditional archery shoot coming to my state in April. After missing hunting season and lots of shooting time I am looking forward to getting some time out with my friends and my bows again. Thanks for to all who have lifted me in prayer and please continue to do so.

Happy to hear you are feeling better and that healing has come to you. So glad that you are able to still attend Church and to still preach to those the Lord has given you a burden for. We'll continue to keep you in our prayers.

Well I am re-visiting and reviving an old post from 2019 for a reason; cause I’m still here!!
If you knew all the details back then you may have betted against me! Sure didn’t look good. But here I am two and a half years later, still preaching regularly, still shooting bows, and still hunting! The Oncologist said back then “Sorry Tony, you are fourth stage, and incurable”
Yesterday I had more scans, but for over two years they have found nothing, and I am very grateful! The surgery I told about in the beginning was rough, it was also useless, they were not able to remove anything since it was wrapped around so many things. The radiation was rough, but Praise God, I’m still here! As I wait to see my Oncologist next week with the results from yesterday’s scans I do it with a thankful heart for being blessed as I have been to still be hanging around to torment my wife! Last Sunday I was in three services, then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and going tonight. Also scheduled to preach twice tomorrow!
Thanks to all who prayed and encouraged me during this time.
