Fractured archery definitions

#1 Post by Graps »

OK , this thread will be for archery definitions that are incorrect but make sense and are funny . I want to laugh at what comes up and I want better than I can do
Can you beat Graps ?
Here is an example of what I am talking about .
Is an anchor point a geographical location ?
Is a knocking point on a door ?
I am going to post on this as well and I hope to see Larry post some too .
I know Captiankurk should be able to do something .
Let's get er going !

Is "going out on a limb" what your string does?
If you shoot an arrow, and your dog brings it back, is he playing "fletch"?
If a girl lays your Bear Kodiak across her head, does she have a "bow in her hair"?
There's a new low-calorie drink out for archers...it's called "Tab"...
There is also a new movie out about a black Robin Hood..."Shaft"....
To get good luck on your hunt, simply "nock on wood" (get it?)

Archers paradox is a place where two bow fishermen can shoot from .

Why is there only one cock feather but two hen feathers?????
If you are going thru archery withdrawals are you "strung out"?
Why, exactly, is it called a "quiver"?
If a hunting point is called a broadhead, why is a target point called a field point instead of a skinny-head? Are you supposed to hunt fields with a field point?
Why is a small game head called a judo point? Don't they know karate?
Is "Archer's Paradox" a brace of mallards owned by a bowhunter? (think about that one a minute)

Q: What do you call an archer that doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground?
A: Bow-diddly

If you give up bowhunting, did you see the "arrow of your ways"?

Why is it called "shooting off the shelf" when clearly, the arrow is ON the shelf?

Howard Hill once shot an elephant in his pajamas. How an elephant got into his pajamas, we'll never know.
