How about a sticky with beginning bow basics?

I haven't seen a thread here for beginners to read to learn the basics of archery & bow hunting.
It could also be a good reference thread for old farts that suffer from CRS disease
That's how I thought about this! I can't remember what AMO stands for.

A thread that had a list of the basic terms/words used in archery & what they mean should be very helpful.
The list should include things like:

Sounds like a good idea to me. A new archer is absolutely clueless about a lot of the wording we use!

I like the idea but it's a big undertaking. I'll give it some thought and see what I can come up with.
