Did you hear that?

Come on in and sit a spell. There's a seat for you around the campfire.

Hunting season! ??

Only reason I'm on line is that I had relatively complex shoulder repair and not allowed to shoot...

I signed up for the notifications and they come via email and being retarded..er...retired, I check periodically throughout the day when I'm here! :)

I'm in the same boat as you, with shoulder surgery & checking in. I will be out with my crossbow as soon as season opens.... if it's not raining too much. That's what they're calling for this weekend. I went & hung a stand yesterday to be ready.

There's your cue to get to chattering.

Success is where preparation meets opportunity...!

Lack of preparedness has cost many a critter's life only to feed the woods creatures, not the hunter.

Good luck and have a good time and be SAFE!

It's looking like it's going to be an awful wet opening day Drew. Are you still going?

I'm thinking of waiting for a drier day. I don't like the idea of shooting one & loosing the blood trail in the rain.

That has always been my fear... but on another site, many spoke up of just shortening their range, ensuring a good hit with a super sharp head and watching them fall in site or in hearing (thick cover).

Made me think hard...99% of all my deer fell in sight or heard them crash when it was too thick to see...

Deer sure do move well in a light rain... dunno about no deluge in a bowhunt...

Good luck whatever you do...
