Big single bevel heads

So I get that in heavy bone a narrow single bevel is probably about your best bet. That's one of the reasons half of my quiver is grizzlys. Honestly my favorite thing about single bevel heads is just how scary sharp they can get. The s wound channel thing isn't why I shoot them although I know it can't hurt. Anyway enough of that. To get back on topic there aren't many wide single bevels out there. I'd love to see like an ace super express single bevel. Are there any heads like this out there that I have missed?

I think Simmons builds some wide single bevels, or did anyway.

Ive tried the simmons tiger sharks and had not luck getting them sharp. Maybe its me. I know most people that have trouble with them cant get the concave part sharp but even on the tip I couldn't get them sharp enough to feel comfortable taking them to the woods. They did fly great but so do magnus 1s and they are almost as wide. Ideally Id like a big convex head atleast 1 3/8" if not 1 1/2" wide right bevel. If I could find some of those Abowyer Whitetail heads in right bevel I would buy all I could find. I may call Ace and see if they will sell unbeveled heads

Might be easier to just get a LW clamp and feathers and use that Abowyer.

Wow....im drawing a blank. I can't find a thing as you described. I find big wide heads, but only in concave, like helix.

Abowyer makes a pretty wide broadhead. It might be what you're looking for.

Maybe you can make your own by reshaping a big 2 blade, or even better getting some unbeveled ones from the factory,

Make broad heads? Start with a Trade point perhaps?
There are so many out there and the 3:1 design seems to have some inherent benefits, but wide can open em up. Alaska Bowhunting Supply has some wider ones but the price is...
They are also convex I think not concave which can be handled nicely on the KME knife Sharpener or the broad head unit I'd think, if you have the patience for that sort of thing...

Ron from Stay Sharp has built his own broadheads. ...maybe we should try to con him into making us some of these wider heads...lol!
