Lots of those old fiberglass bows on EBay, a custom bowyer would build one if you want to go deep, and I bought a new Titan off Amazon.

:oops: :oops: Okay; someone is wide awake and full of it this morning. :lol: She may not like how deep in her pocket book you went on bows already. But for her she may not mind.

Well, I agree on the 'glass bow thing, but you could also contact Mike at Maddog Archery. A standard Prairie Predator starts at $295 and I'm sure Mike could craft a fine bow at about any draw length or DW you requested. Sort of depends on how serious your wife is...is she just 'dipping a toe in the water', so to speak, or intent on serious shooting? Also is she interested in hunting or target shooting? Many of the target bows of yesterday are in DW's of less than 30#.

Not seeing a draw weight on that BP. Plus, it's 50" (???) strung, not sure what AMO is on it. A beginning shooter should start out no less than 60" IMHO, preferably more than 62. You might see if some of the retailers have any old stock Samick Journeys in stock yet (dropped from production last year)...that was a 64" AMO with replaceable limbs up to 60#, I believe, and started at 30#.

nice thing about those old fiberglass bows is that most are dual shelf so you can practice up on your lefthanded shooting.

I don't know what her draw length is but Maddog Mike could build a pup for her up to 30# at 26". I could probably get away with shooting one of them myself! And they're under $100!
