Look what happened to my K-mag!
My beautiful K-mag that I had refinished a few years ago.
I just found this.

Don't you just hate it when that happens.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I feel your pain - well maybe not all your pain. There is always a bright side thought. You have a K-mag and I bought a stupid Pearson HP-52 back in 1969 when they were on sale. You still love yours and I only keep mine around for sentimental reasons. How many times have I wished I'd listened to the man in that archery candy store. He tried his best to talk me into a better bow. Back then I was in archery heaven and didn't know it. I was stupid and stubborn.
I wonder if anyone has a trick up their sleeve to soften that scratch up some.

Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

I've had this bow sense 1973. My dad bought it for me as a gift when I got my Eagle Scout.
I have more mileage on this bow than I can even imagine.
Countless memories, deer, rabbits, squirrels, trash fish, frogs and snapping turtles.
It's my own fault, I took it out hunting a few times last fall.
Just had to, it's an old friend.

Just use a little fine sandpaper to even the scratch and finish with true oil if you take your time it will disappear.

Hate that Graps, I remember reading the story behind that bow, I know it holds great value to you. Stuff happens, but what memories you must have enjoyed using it again. You could probably make it look better if not disappear as mentioned above.

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Isn't that the bow you let your wife shoot?
Just kidding...
I remember the whole story of that bow, the refinish thread, and what it means to you. But take heart; the only way a bow is gonna remain pristine is if you leave it on the wall and don't shoot it. That bow was not meant for that. Those are character marks, Dale. Someday you can sent it back to the Bow Hospital for round 2. In the mean time, enjoy it.
