Not as polished as it could've been. Bit scratched and patina after a full day of cutting fresh wood.
Steel is 1095, I think is the closest in US terms. Handle is my micarta, all the shades of purple didn't come out in the pic though.

Thanks, took a while to make but well worth it. Would not part with it at any price. Well, not at any price anyone is likely to offer.

It is a good chopper, kukri inspired. Made it to be complemented with a leatherman super tool 300 to be all you needed to make a bow. In a pinch that is. Hard to give up the rasp and sandpaper if you don't have to. ☺
