Shooting Challenge

#1 Post by Jamesh76 »

The shooting challenge will commence on August 4th. Each shooting challenge will start weekly on Monday and run until Sunday at noon. Participants will either show a picture of their shots or provide measurements of their arrows to the center of the intended target for the week. Each person will shoot 1-3 arrows as indicated for each challenge on a cold shot. The winning archer will create the next challenge in this thread hopefully by Monday but no later than Wednesday to give a few days for participants to shoot. Some may have a limited range. If you cannot meet the required distance (not to exceed 30 yards) you can shoot the challenge with a handicap at half of the suggested yardage. Example of handicap would be shooting kneeling or different position if it's a standing shot challenge or shooting 1 arrow instead of 3 etc. Tie breakers will go to the 2nd or 3rd closest arrows if needed. There will be no need to post if your participating. Just post up your pictures or groups. Again, deadline to post your results is noon Sunday. The first shot challenge will be 1 arrow @ 15 yards standing at a standard bottle or beer cap. Good luck everyone!

Well then...ahem...I'd like to say pic #1 was my shot. Well, it was, but not my first shot.
Pic #2 was my first cold shot. Not sure if I should post it here or in the "So you say you suck" thread...

Yeah...dream on, Cap'n...

Good luck in that endeavor!
Just make sure NOT to use the top photo for my entry.

Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

Funny we all shoot high. 90% of deer I miss I shoot over them.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
