Buck Down

Last Thursday I got in my stand about 230pm. I was sitting on a big trail that bucks use during the rut. Have been sitting in the same tree for 30 years.
Just before dark I hear a deer coming down the trail slowly. I had made a few grunts about 5 minutes prior so it's possible that brought him in.
I got a good look at him at 25 yards and decided he was a nice one. At 12 yards as he was slowly walking by I picked a spot, drew and hit him pretty good angling forward.
I heard him crack into a tree about 100 yards out and then heard some thrashing. Packed my stuff up and had a good blood trail and there he was about 120 yards out.
Dressed at 175 pounds. Zipper 56# longbow, Gold tips, and Muzzy 125's.
Now after #2. Thanks for reading.
