New way I've found to enjoy our sport :)

Haven’t been here and posted for a while and thought I’d post some pics of a couple of bows I’ve built… I broke a couple of toes and had some other health issues that have kept me from hunting as much as I would like so I decided to try my hand at building a bow….
It answered a question for me and if I can do it anyone can as I bleed when I even look at a tool…
The first was a nice Mulberry stave that was fairly short so I decided, with advice from more much experienced bow builders that a simple D was the way to go so the handle could take some of the bend and relieve some stress….
So this stave turned into this bow…54”s 38@27 and now the property of my wife
