AWESOME! Please tell us more about the shot, what happened before during and after? How did the arrow preform?

Also how does that bear meat taste? Looks good

The 125gr Ace head on a Douglass Fir shaft total weight of 510gr was a complete pass through.
The bow is a Javaman Helms Deep 45#@28".
The bear went 63 yards according to my GPS , so plus or minus how ever accurate that is.

They are great people. My wife and I have shared many a weekend together with them. They have helped sponsor many a Traditional Archery gathering. I haven't gotten out to see them in a few years, but they had a photo board of game taken with their broadheads.

Congrats on a fine bear and lots of memories! That looks yummy! I've ate bear 2x and loved it both times!

The good part about this, my wife likes the bear meat too.
